Omar SAADOUNE

A small street, a hidden entrance and a big painting on the wall: a skull. I went there instinctively, without thinking twice about what I could find or what it was. I found a friendly smile who invited me in and told me about his art.

Skull is life for him and all the story behind left me speechless. Omar is not only a true artist, but also an important figure of Morocco.

I had no idea about that and, even more, I had no idea he lived in a tiny house in Chefchaouen. The village is for him, not the blue that everyone admires but the structure of the walls, the history, the sense of community.

Such an inspiration. I am happy I met him.
